Bobby Lashley defeats the Umaga, Vince and Shane McMahon team at a disadvantage fight for the ECW Championship, but does not win the title since it does not cover the official champion, Vince. Also, MVP beats Chris Benoit in a two -year -old fight to win the United States Championship and Edge retains the World Weight Championship against Batista.
- 2011: “Macho Man” Randy Savage dies at the age of 58.
- 2015: Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn star in their last fight in NXT. “KO” defends the NXT championship at the Takeover event: UNSTOPPABLE. In addition, Sasha Banks defeats Becky Lynch to defend the NXT women's championship.
- 2012: The Over The Limit payment event offers its third and latest edition.
