- 2008: WWE presents One Night Stand. All fighting have violent stipulations. In the main one, Edge defeats The Undertaker in a struggle of tables, stairs and chairs to become a world weight champion and force the buffer to leave the company. Also, Triple H retains the WWE championship by winning Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing fight.
- 2009: Kofi Kingston wins the United States championship for the first time. Destrone MVP after 73 days in an episode of Monday Night Raw.
- 2010: Wade Barrett is the winner of the first NXT season when the future brand is still a reality show. David Otunga is second and Justin Gabriel third.
- 2014: WWE celebrates Payback. In the main fight, The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose) defeat Evolution (Triple H, Batista and Randy Orton) in what will be his last fight together in his original stage since in WWE RAW the next night Rollins will betray Reigns and Ambrose.
- 2019: WWE NXT presents Takeover: XXV. In the main fight, Adam Cole defeat Johnny Gargano and wins the NXT championship. Also, The Street Profits win the NXT couples championships in a stairs fight against Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly, Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan and Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler.
- 2021: Carmelo Hayes debuts on NXT TV. It falls defeated before Kushida in a weekly show fighting for the cruise weight championship.

- 2021: On the first night of NJPW Road To Dominion, Dangerous Tekkers (Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr.) defeat Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) to win the IWGP couples championship.
CMLL
- 1977: In the Acapulco Coliseum Arena, Blue Flame wins the National Lightweight Championship to America Rocca.
- 1990: Rossy Moreno loses his hair against Martha Villalobos and Dande expires Ángel Azteca to win the Nwa medium world weight championship in a show in the Colosseum Arena in Mexico City.
AAA
- 2000: Park Jr., son of Park and brother of The Son of the Park, is born in Monterrey, Nuevo León (Mexico).
- 2008: Wrestling AAA Worldwide (today still assistance, advice and administration) Celebrates the Queen of Queens event, whose homonymous tournament is won by Faby Apache, becoming the new Queen of Queens AAA champion.

- 1995: Alicia Atout was born in Toronto, Ontario (Canada).
- 1998: Megan Bayne (Megan Doheny) is born in East Haven, Connecticut (United States).
- 2022: The living legend of New Japan Pro Wrestling «Ace» Hiroshi Tanahashi debuts at All Elite Wrestling during a Dynamite show.

- 2017: Ortiz and Santana (Latin American Exchange) win their first title together when they dethrone The Veterans of War as GFW couples champions in a weekly Show Wrestling show.

- 1976: Tigers Mask (Atsushi Maruyama) is born in Takatsuki, prefecture of Osaka (Japan).
- 1977: James Storm (James Allen Cox) is born in Franklin, Tennessee (United States).
- 1991: During a WCW World Wrestling show, in the main fight, Steve Armstrong loses against Michael Hayes after a man disguised with feathers and called fantasy intervenes in the fight. The Walt Disney Company contacts World Championship Wrestling to get attention to your animated film of the 40s, fantasy, and thus prevent the use of that name. Therefore, Brad Armstrong's new character is renowned as Badstreet, referring to the place of origin of the Fabulous Freebirds.
- 1996: Antonio Inoki organizes the World Wrestling Peace Festival in the Los Angeles Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California (United States), a historical event that brings together NJPW, AAA, CMLL and WCW talents. It is considered a precursor in the globalization of wrestling and in the opening of collaborations between different promoters, as well as in the introduction of the wrestling of Mexico into US lands. Fighters like Inoki himself, Dan Severn, Jushin Thunder Liger, The Great Sasuke, Bam Bam Bigelow, Sting, Konnan, Chris Benoit, Atlantis or two faces.

- 1996: Prince Iaukea debuts at WCW facing The Gambler in an episode of WCW Saturday Night recorded on May 29.
- 1996: During the ECW Fight the Power event, Shane Douglas is forced to defend the ECW World Television Championship five times. He defends him to El Puerto Riqueño, Don E. Allen, Devon Storm and Mikey Whipwreck before losing it with Pitbull #2.
