Niigata Meikun defeated Hokuetsu 1-0, and made it to the finals for the first time in three tournaments. In the 31st minute of the second half, forward Tashiro Rensho (Nagaoka JYFC), who was the second-year student and wearing the number 10 jersey, brilliantly scored the winning goal. Teikyo Nagaoka, who was third in the national championship last year and is aiming for a fourth consecutive victory in the prefectural championship, was suspended for over 40 minutes due to bad weather, but he crushed Kaishi International 5-0 with midfielder Yoshiwara Takuya (3rd year, Nagaoka JYFC) scored two goals. The final on June 1st (changed from 1:30pm to start at 2pm) will be held at Isokono Park Athletics Stadium.

The fast-paced lefty has passed Hokuetsu's final line. Tashiro was brought in in the 23rd minute of the second half, with a 0-0-0 second minute, and in the 31st minute, he broke through the center with a vertical pass from midfielder Ueda Riku (2nd year), and shook the net with a left-footed tip kick that passed through the side of the opposing goalkeeper. This is his first goal of the tournament, leading the team to the finals for the first time in three tournaments. “I've been practicing one-on-one on a regular basis (with the goalkeeper), so I was able to bring it in without getting nervous. I'm not used to it. I chose to tip kick because I felt like I tried it at halftime,” he replied with a smile on his calm blow.
This season, he was entrusted with the ace number 10, and injured his right shin in early spring. This tournament, which continues to be used as a Joker, has only played for 15 minutes in the third round, but he was in the spotlight with a goal on the day, when he played in his second match. “The defensive team had set up a wall, so I thought the offensive team had no choice.”
At Nagaoka JYFC, he played as a fullback when he was in elementary school, and in his second year of junior high school, he became the main field of forwards. “I'm not fast, but I'm physically stamina and I can always run at the same speed, so when everyone gets tired, I just look faster,” he says humbly, but in the first year since entering high school, my top speed has increased from 28 km to 31 km. “I feel a sense of accomplishment.” My goal is to hone my speed and become a more scary scorer.
In the next match, they will match up against Teikyo Nagaoka, who succumbed in the final three tournaments before the match. In the semi-finals of the prefectural tournament last fall, when he participated in the national championships, he scored the winning goal against the school as a substitute. “I want to decide again and go all over the country.” The ace has finally awakened, vowed to win the autumn and spring consecutive championships in the prefectural tournament.[Kobayashi Tadashi]
Manager Sakamoto Kazuya (39)'s decision was accurate. Starting pitcher Takumi Shuku (3rd year) dealt damage to the opposing center back, and in the end Tashiro, who was making a half-stripped shot, was killed. “Thinking about various sets and combinations.” The manager ran side by side in the goal scene, chasing Tashiro in front of the bench, and was pleased with his fist pose. Regarding the ace Joker, he grinned, “He's in good condition and is in good spirits. From the opponent's point of view, it would be unpleasant if No. 10 was on the bench, right?”
The defensive team was also stable. Despite being created many opportunities by Hokuetsu, he won the final battle and managed to get through the goal without conceding a goal. “I've told you that 0-0 is our game. I'm able to fight without panic with a good mindset.” He put his energy into the final against Teikyo Nagaoka, saying, “I want to win a good game.”
