Japan Professional Basketball League (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Shimada Shinji hereinafter referred to as “B.LEAGUE”) held the “B.LEAGUE AWARD SHOW 2024-25” at Hikarie Hall on 9th floor of Shibuya Hikarie on Friday, May 30, 2025, and we would like to inform you that the winners of each award have been announced as follows:
The five regular season best five players, decided by a vote by B1 team, were awarded by Hiejima Shin (Utsunomiya Brex), DJ Newville (Utsunomiya Brex), David Nuwaba (Sanen Neophonix), Sasaki Takanari (Sanen Neophonix), and Vic Law (Ryukyu Golden Kings).
DJ Newville was awarded the regular season player (MVP). B.LEAGUE was the first MVP winner for the second time in a row, and with his achievements, he led the Utsunomiya Brex to his fourth regional championship for the second consecutive year.
Segawa Ryukyu (Chiba Jets) was selected by representatives of B.LEAGUE and basketball cheering programs and was awarded the regular season Impressionist (MIP) awarded to the player who has moved the hearts of viewers, both on and off the court, and made the most impact.
B.LEAGUE is presented to individuals, groups, etc. who have achieved results and have achieved results. The award was won by both clubs of Kobe Stokes, who recorded the highest number of visitors in B.LEAGUE's history at GLION ARENA KOBE in Levanga Hokkaido, which recorded the highest number of visitors in B.LEAGUE's history, with 10,062 visitors, the highest number of visitors in B2, and the most winnings in the kokera-dad match.
