The fourteenth edition of the Bloodsport event of Josh Barnett of the GCW company already has location and assigned date. Barnett himself, through his official X account, announced that the next show It will take place on August 2 at Williams Center in Rutherford, New Jersey.
Game Changer Wrestling announced a large number of shows in New Jersey during the weekend of WWE Summerslam. On August 1, a GCW event will be held together with Juggalo Championship Wrestling. On August 2, Bloodsport XIV and Emo Fight will be presented.
So far, Barnett will house three Bloodsports in 2025. The first was held as part of the GCW Collective during the Wrestlemania 41 weekend in Las Vegas, and this event in New Jersey will be the second. The third will be held in September, coinciding with the debut of the format in London, England.
Last year four events of this type were held, one of them in Tokyo, Japan, for the first time. It was the largest annual amount since the four of 2021. Names have not yet been announced, but could include several talents from WWE and NXT, As has happened lately, especially with Natalya's debut last April. Other companies such as AEW and TNA have also been represented.
The unique Bloodsport format in which fighting can only end by knockout or submission in a string ring has generated an influx of talent from all over the world of wrestling and a good response from fans.
The fighters like Josh Barnett, Natalya, Jon Moxley, Shayna Baszler, Josh Alexander, Eddie Kingston, Charlie Dempsey, Masha Slamovich, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Karrion Kross, among much more, have participated in fighting of this style.
