The Japan Professional Basketball League (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Shimada Shinji hereinafter referred to as “B.LEAGUE”) is pleased to announce that it will form a selection team called “B.LEAGUE UNITED,” focusing on promising young players, aiming to improve the competitiveness of the league as a whole by experiencing an international competitive environment.
As the first step in our activities, we will be holding the international friendly match “B.LEAGUE GLOBAL INVITATIONAL 2025 B.LEAGUE UNITED vs AUS NBL (NBL Selection)” at Open House Arena Ota (Ota City, Gunma Prefecture) at the Australian League National Basketball League (hereinafter referred to as “NBL”) international friendly match against the AUS NBL, a selection team of the Australian League National Basketball League (hereinafter referred to as “NBL”).

■About “B.LEAGUE UNITED”
B.LEAGUE has set the goal of “producing five NBA players by 2030” as one of the goals of its medium-term management plan. Therefore, we have formed a selection team called “B.LEAGUE UNITED” with young players focusing on future overseas challenges, gaining more international experience, and aim to improve individual levels and improve the competitiveness of the entire league. Selected members were selected by comprehensively assessing past results from candidates that were self-recommended or recommended. B.LEAGUE will continue to create opportunities for “B.LEAGUE UNITED” to operate internationally.

*Even on the day of the match, you can purchase at an advance price from the “B.LEAGUE ticket.” To avoid crowds at the counter on the day, please purchase from the “B.LEAGUE Ticket” in advance as much as possible.
*Stand-out unreserved seats will be available after reserved seats are sold out.
*If you purchase from the counter on the day, the price will be 500 yen from the final price. (Only available for purchases at the counter on the day)
