According to Wrestling Observer Radio information, WWE has discussed the possibility of asking fans attending televised events that refrain from saying bad words during the show. Although nothing has been officially implemented, Dave Meltzer revealed that the idea has been raised between racks.

He explained that a WWE is concerned that inappropriate language is detected in live broadcasts that are transmitted worldwide and would not see with bad eyes ask for adequate behavior to fans to attend their televised shows.

“WWE is concerned about the image that attendees can give to their television shows. In fact, people have suggested this, as if they announce: 'Hey, we are here. It is a television program. It will be broadcast throughout the world. We want you to have fun, do not say swear words because you will ruin the program.”

Dave Meltzer also reflected on how such a request could have been received by the previous public compared to the current fans base. While the issue is in the discussion stage, Meltzer said WWE has not yet advanced with any public or official announcement.

“Before, if they had done that in the past, the public would have begun to say swear words because they did not want them to control them. But I think this public is currently mature and intelligent enough, so that, if you told him, I think he would not bother them. That is something that has been suggested, I know, for now there is nothing official but so we will have those things”.

With WWE events becoming more global and family, it seems that the company is thinking about how the audience at its television shows affects the general presentation. We will see if WWE finally throws this decision in front of or if it will remain on wet paper.
