The member of the Hall of Fame of the WWE and commentator in AEW Jim Ross confirm Your new colon cancer surgery.

► Jim Ross will be operated

In a new episode of his podcast, Grilling J.R., The legend of luchistic narration reveals:

Ross: “Preparing for surgery, and that is always stressful. But I have prepared mentally and physically to support the situation.

«I have cancer and at one point I will remember what kind. Isn't it incredible? I have separated a lot from the specific details of this situation, and it is not that it does so on purpose. It simply happens … I'm trying to remember it. Cancer of what? I don't remember which I have. I have it in two places and today they will take them out. Surgery is tomorrow at 6 in the morning ».

The veteran also counts that Do not feel pain And what hopes to be A few days in the hospital:

“They believe I will be six days in the hospital, and they think that those six days will be fine. I can leave and do this. I should be able to get home and record a podcast …”.

As for wrestling, Ross clarifies that This is not going to put an end to his career:

“This is crazy, a few hours from my surgery, but it is crazy to say that I don't plan to retire. I plan to get healthy, improve, and return to do something for someone, and we'll see how that is.”

“I am learning a lot about things. I am learning a lot about my body and what it has, and it is like an old car… I still try to drive and keep it working, and that may be one of my problems: the old car has run too much time and too hard. So I am thinking of reducing the march after surgery. Talk to the doctor … I'm really going to try to decelerate when all this ends. Make some appearances for autographs, which I love to do, and see what Tony Khan has prepared for me in AEW. I could still do the calendar I had, but I don't know if someone else believes it. I do believe it. I would still love to do the Pay-Per-Views in AEW, but I don't know if Tony will want it to be. I know that your commentators team right now seems a bit unstable, or that is basically they have the same children doing the same things, or trying, and I do not know if that is working or not, and I do not say it in a bad way or with bad intention. But they need some continuity, and at least I can contribute that continuity in the Pay-Per-Views. We'll see how that comes out. Everything will be fine. Tony Khan seems incredible to me and he told me that I'm fine and that everything is in order. I have already heard that before. But we will talk at some point, next week or two. We will see how things are going. But I think my work has resisted quite well. I can be wrong, fans will decide that, but I think it has resisted quite well.

Of course, I think I could (be in All in Texas). Why not? Why not? The convalescence time is not long. There is pain and things that affect … but I think I will be recovered and ready to go in a couple of weeks.

Tony Khan called me, which was pleasant. You know, the Khan family has done incredible job taking care of JR since I signed with his company. He is very friendly with talent. Maybe too friendly sometimes … I feel sorry for him because he is in a really unique game. But he is not exceeded in intelligence, although perhaps with some of the people who work for him. It's funny, the last time I was there … I was very curious to listen to office talents and were, like, looking for a space for themselves, and some were not. Not all. They all had good intentions. Damn, but some no … wrestling is something curious. The talent that works in the office often – not all, but often – is very selfish. I also went, and when I looked back in my experience, I would never do that again. I would prefer to be fired or removed because I am not that kind of person. So it was difficult, but it is a hard business, and Tony is in a difficult situation in that aspect. ”
