It appears that Japanese national team forward Furuhashi Kougo has returned to Japan after his season in the French first division Rennes.
Yamaguchi Hotaru, a former teammate at Vissel Kobe, posted a photo of him on social media with Furuhashi, who also had his beloved dog.
“After the season ended, they went out of their way to Nagasaki to watch the game. We won the game, and it's great to see you for the first time in a while. I'm looking forward to seeing you again.”
Yamaguchi is currently playing for J2 V. Falane Nagasaki, and Furuhashi apparently rushed to watch the game. Nagasaki defeated Jeff United Chiba 1-0 in the match.
For Furuhashi, Yamaguchi was the senior (97 games) who played the most games during the Kobe period.
After meeting with her senior, Furuhashi was pleased with her, saying, “I was happy to be able to meet the people I wanted to meet, and I will do my best too,” and “(Yamaguchi's beloved dog Kuro) was so cute…”
Yamaguchi's post also liked Andres Iniesta, who once played for Kobe.

Furuhashi was unable to get any chance to play in Rennes, where he transferred in January, and ended up scoring without any goals. He showed a gentle smile when he met Yamaguchi again, but there are rumors that he will be transferred in six months, and the trends this summer are attracting attention.
