A few days ago, Mei Seira, 23 years old, and currently holding the High Speed championship in Stardom, failed in his attempt to seize the CMLL-Japan women's championship after falling before the rain monarch in the Tokyo Korakuen Hall.
Now he seeks to get the spine, so he decided to become the next challenger to the Super Asia championship of Mei Suruga. This fight will be carried out in the Chocopro #452 function that will have a verification in the Shinjuku Face on May 29. Seira and Suruga have a long history together, although they had never faced each other in individual fighting, they even formed team in a failed fight for this Seadlinnng Beyond the Sea championship in 2019 against Hiroyo Matsumoto and Yoshiko.
However, this will be the first time since 2023 that they will share a ring, when Starlight Kid and Seira defeated Azm and Mei Suruga in All-Star Grand Queendom in a fight that marked Seira's return to wrestling after a pause.
Mei Suruga is the sixth monarch of the Super Asia championship and has been holding the belt for 269 days. His fight against Mei Seira will be the seventh defense of the title.
