[Madrid (Spain) = Takahashi Tomoyuki]Real Sociedad's Japanese national team midfielder Kubo Takefusa (23) played the full game in the final round of the season against Real Madrid, which was held on the run. They lost 0-2 in the match and finished 11th.

Coach Alguacil (53), who is scheduled to retire at the end of this season, was unable to win the final match.

The questions and answers from Director Alguacil at the press conference are as follows:

-I'm feeling after finishing my last match as R Sociedard coach

“I'm very calm and I'm having fun. When I found out I'd be extending my contract and staying here, Ancelotti and many other managers advised me, 'You have to choose your own timing, especially when it comes to the club.' I think I've developed quite a bit in every aspect of the club, and I think I've chosen the timing quite well. I'm sure we were aiming to compete in the European leagues, and I wanted to do that the most. But I didn't get it, so I had fun over the last few weeks. I can leave calmly and with a very happy feeling.”

– About the love we received from everyone

“You can see from that farewell party, but the love I received at home speaks all and I feel that way since I took over the team. But I've really felt a lot of love from so many rival teams and supporters outside of San Sebastian. That's a great joy for everyone. I think I've made a huge mark in my career and have been highly praised. I don't know if it's because of my way of being or because of the press conference, but I don't think I'm hated that much. I try to be myself, and sometimes I make mistakes, but I value the things I feel with my heart above all.”

-Real Sociedad Supporters How do you want to be remembered?

“I have always been one of the R Socieda supporters. My family doesn't like the image of scarves, but that's the best memory I've felt from the beginning because there's nothing better than making the people of Gipuscoa (the prefecture's capital is San Sebastian), as well as many Real Socieda supporters and many other supporters overseas happy.”
