Anthony Henry and JD Drake receive medical authorization to return to ring

After a long period of inactivity due to important injuries, the team known as The Workhorsemen, formed by Anthony Henry and JD Drake, has received official medical authorization to return to action in the ring. Anthony Henry shared the good news in his official X account, expressing his enthusiasm for competing again in the ring.

“It has been a long year, but both fighters are officially authorized to return to the ring. Let's cheer!”

The Workhorsemen have not fought as a team since the recording of AEW Collision in May 2024, where they were defeated by Daniel García and Katsuyori Shibata. Serious injuries paused his career. Henry suffered a jaw fracture and subsequently a tear in the left biceps in 2024, while JD Drake has been out of action due to problems on his right foot since November last year.

Fans will not have to wait long to see at least half of the team back, since JD Drake will return to the ring this Saturday to face Josh Woods at the Dean Show! 2 In Glendale, Arizona. AEW has been associated with Action Wrestling for this event, which pays tribute to the deceased Dean Rasmussen.
