On the 23rd, the Japan Football Association (JFA) announced the Japanese national team members who will be competing in the FIFA World Cup 26 Asia final qualifying round (third qualifying round) in June.
The Japanese national team has overcome the second round of qualifying with an overwhelming strength of winning all six matches and scoring 24 points without conceding, and has also shown a stable battle in the final qualifying group C. They defeated China, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia to win three straight games, and then defeated Indonesia and China after a draw with Australia. The team won the match against Bahrain 2-0 on March 20th, and they decided to participate in the main tournament for the eighth consecutive time.
