It appears that Chelsea have no intention of selling Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernandez. The British newspaper Guardian reported on the 21st.

E. Fernandez, now 24 years old, contributed to the Argentina national team's victory at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 for the third time in 36 years, and was selected as the tournament's Best Young Player Award. Thanks to this success, he joined Chelsea from Benfica on a permanent transfer in January 2023. In addition to the highest transfer fee in British history at the time, the highest amount in the history of the UK, it also attracted attention.

E. Fernandez's current contract with Chelsea will be on June 30, 2032, but Xavi Alonso, who will replace manager Carlo Ancelotti as Real Madrid's manager, is hoping to strengthen his midfield, and is listed as a candidate for signing along with fellow midfielders Alexis Mac Alistair (Liverpool) and Swedish national team midfielder Hugo Larsson (Frankfurt).

And some other reports have recently reported that Real Madrid has begun to move forward to signing E. Fernandez in earnest, and future trends are attracting attention.

However, according to the current report, Chelsea is not considering selling E. Fernandez, and the player himself is not dissatisfied with Chelsea, so it seems unlikely that the transfer will be possible.

In order for Real Madrid to acquire E. Fernandez, it seems they will need to offer at least an amount that exceeds the transfer fee for Chelsea's acquisition, but there are questions about whether they can offer that amount, and it is reported that Chelsea is confident that he will remain.
