The Japan Professional Basketball League (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Shimada Shinji hereinafter referred to as “B.LEAGUE”) has been cancelled on Monday, May 19th, and we are pleased to announce the following regarding the handling of the Resona Group B2 PLAYOFFS FINALS 2024-25 GAME3 Altiri Chiba vs. Toyama Grouses match, as follows:
The B2 Year Winner and Playoff Player Award (MVP) will be announced once the decision was made.

■Regarding the handling of the match
The league has decided to hold a 40-minute rematch for the eligible matches in accordance with Article 56, Paragraph 1, Item 1 of the League Rules, but as the venue for the rematch was not adjusted, it will decide not to hold a rematch based on Paragraph 2 of the same article.
Due to the absence of a rematch, under paragraph 3 of the same article, eligible matches will not be held, and match results and individual results will not be officially recorded.
*Article 56[Cannot be held due to force majeure or cancellation]
(1) If an official match is unable to hold or cancelled due to reasons that cannot be attributed to any team due to bad weather, natural disasters such as earthquakes, or the absence of public transport or other reasons (hereinafter referred to as “force majeure”), the chairman will decide the handling of the match based on the following items.
① 40 minute rematch
② Resuming matches from the time of cancellation
③ The match will be completed at the time of cancellation
(2) In the event that a rematch is held in accordance with the decision in item 1 of the previous paragraph, the home club will continue to be treated as a home club, and the dates for which the match can be held will be adjusted in consultation with the home club and the league, and as a general rule, the rematch will be held within two weeks of the cancellation. In this case, if there are multiple matches to be re-matched, the performance will be adjusted in order of the number of passages to which the match belongs, and if adjustments are not made due to venue circumstances or the remaining number of matches available, the league will decide not to hold the match.
(3) If a match is not held due to force majeure or due to cancellation, the match will not be held, and the match results and individual results will not be made official records.
