The Japan Professional Basketball League (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Shimada Shinji hereinafter “B.LEAGUE”) is pleased to announce the following regarding the decision to win the B2 Year and Playoffs' Best Player (MVP) in response to the failure of the rematch between the Resona Group B2 PLAYOFFS FINALS 2024-25 GAME3 Altiri Chiba vs. Toyama Grouses match, as follows:
The Artilli Chiba and Toyama Grouses clubs were chosen for the Resona Group B.LEAGUE 2024-25 SEASON B2 years, and Artilli Chiba #3 Kurokawa Totetsu was selected for the Playoffs Best Player Award (MVP).
1) Winner of the B2 years: Artille Chiba / Toyama Grouses
2) Prize money: 10 million yen (tax included) will be awarded to both clubs as per the award rules.
3) Final ranking: Both clubs will be number one in the year
4) Playoffs Best Player Award: Resona Group B2 PLAYOFFS FINALS 2024-25 GAME2 will be selected by B.LEAGUE based on the results of the match up to GAME2.

Resona Group B2 PLAYOFFS FINALS 2024-25 GAME3 has been cancelled or not being held due to force majeure, and both the Artillery Chiba and Toyama Grouses clubs have been decided to win.
After a fierce battle between the two clubs, GAME3 was very excited to see a match worthy of winning the top of B2. However, it is a shame that we were unable to deliver this amazing match to our fans and boosters, and that we were unable to provide a place to show our strength to the players and staff who have been preparing to win. We tried all sorts of adjustments to make it possible to hold the event, but we were unable to secure an alternative venue, and as a difficult decision, we came to the conclusion that the event would not be held. However, the attitude of both clubs, who fought with all their might until the end, and the way they were seriously bumped into each other, was too difficult to match up to one another, and given that the passionate play of both clubs trembling the hearts of many fans and boosters, we decided that both clubs were worthy of winning.
Both clubs will be promoted to B1 next season and will face even higher levels of battles. We sincerely ask all our fan boosters, partners, and local residents for your continued support and support for Artille Chiba and Toyama Grouses.
